These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Famly Safe (the "app"), developed by an individual developer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Famly Safe is a shared workspace for a family to record and organize family members, assets, insurance policies, bank account references, documents, and reminders. Access within a family is governed by Owner and Viewer permissions, set by the family's own members.

Your account and content

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for anything entered into your family's workspace using your account.
• You must have the right to add any information or document you upload — don't add another person's sensitive information without their knowledge, where that person is not part of your own family group.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Famly Safe is a record-keeping tool, not a source of financial, legal, or insurance advice.

Subscriptions

Famly Safe offers a free plan with limited storage, and a Premium subscription (Monthly or Annual) that removes those limits. Premium plans include a 7-day free trial.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings, or from Famly Safe's own Profile screen. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial period, where applicable.

If you downgrade or your subscription lapses, your existing data is never deleted or hidden — only new additions beyond the free plan's limits are blocked until you're back under the limit or subscribe again.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another family's data without authorization
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the app's security or access controls

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Famly Safe available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and features may change or be discontinued as the app evolves. We'll do our best to give notice of any change that materially affects your existing subscription.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Famly Safe is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app — see our Data Deletion Instructions.

Changes to these Terms

If these Terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Famly Safe after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
